We want to strengthen our purchasing team with a key purchasing contact for our European and North American suppliers.
Arbetsuppgifter
Your daily purchasing functions will include: order placement, warehouse database administration (RMR, RCD), order confirmation follow-up and registration, order delivery tracking and supplier invoice review. You will also monitor and provide updates about delays affecting sales and other colleagues.
You will provide support for after-sales front line in purchasing issues, perform evaluation and follow up on the performance of suppliers and develop and maintain supplier relationships.
Within the scope of after-sales:
• Identify items that have potential cost saving or lead time reduction and work together with sourcing for improvements for after-sales
• Work with Sourcing to facilitate short and long term sourcing strategies for managed categories, setting priorities, objectives and action plans to improve supply base and minimize risk with measurable accountability
• Represent after-sales in sourcing and purchasing meetings
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We believe you are a degree holder or have similar knowledge achieved in other way.
You have minimum 2 years working experience in purchase a/o supply chain relations a/o logistics, preferably in an industrial environment.
Extensive experience in working in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Excel is meritorious.
To thrive in this role, we believe that you are self-going, communicative and structured.
Prerequisite: English Spoken/written
