hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Gems Pet i Uppsala In the role as Purchasing Specialist you will ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and sales. You will also be responsible for purchasing material per the MPS requirements and per other internal needs as well as resolve material issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsible to purchase material to production or other internal needs
• Responsible to maintain up-to-date record in the MPS for material to manufacturing or other internal needs
• Responsible to work with purchase KPI's with action follow-up
• Responsible for daily and tactical interaction with suppliers
• Support development and research projects for procurement of material
• Work with Sourcing team, supporting Sourcing activities, including supplier qualification, supplier evaluation and corrective action follow-up
• Work with, planning, fulfillment, production and warehouse to at best fulfill customer's needs
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in related field or High School Diploma or local equivalent and significant experience in Materials Replenishment Planning (MRP), Supply Chain or Purchasing
• Good negotiation skills and good understanding of basic finance and commercial topics
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in Sweden (EU work permit)
• Ability to communicate well and work with others
• Proficient in basic mathematics
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
• Solid communication and analytical skills
Desired Characteristics:
• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain or Business (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
• Strong commercial Sourcing experience in all facets of the assigned commodities
• Excellent communication skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
• Project managements skills and experience
• Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
• Experience purchasing within a compliant supply chain
