Purchasing Program Manager
Program Purchasing Management is a joint responsibility between CEVT Program Purchasing and Geely Program Purchasing. CEVT Program Purchasing organization is coordinating the project sourcing for the CEVT architecture projects.
The Purchasing Program Manager is responsible to ensure that the Purchasing Milestone deliverables for the respective areas (Body & Trim, Electrical, Chassis, Powertrain) are met and that the requirements are effectively communicated to and executed by the Purchasing Line Organizations. You will proactively drive, steer and report purchasing project activities to the line organizations for Program related issues and communicate program information, such as program timing, program volume / capacity prerequisites and supplier performance to the Line Organizations.
Work is of a challenging nature involving a considerable amount of perception, initiative and a high level of independent judgment.
In this role you will report to the Senior Manager Program Purchasing located in Gothenburg, and work in tight collaboration with other Purchasing Program Managers, as well as the Purchasing Liaison Office.
Some travel, mainly to China, is required in this position.
Candidate profile
To be successful in this role you need to have a background from purchasing in the automotive industry, and experience from purchasing project management. Some key requirements we are looking for in this recruitment are:
* Result oriented with ability to independently drive and complete tasks
* Team player with strong interpersonal skills and sense of business
* Good planning and administration skills
* High level of self-initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
