hela Sverige Your direct reporting line will be to the Global Procurement Director, placed in the Global Procurement & Outsourcing organization in Malmö. However you will be fully dedicated to procurement at Site Perstorp and in that role report with a dotted line to the Site Manager. The position-holder will have two direct reports. The position will be placed in Perstorp.
You will be responsible for;
• Actively participate in and push safety and improvement work at the purchasing department on site.
• Lead and develop staff and skills in the purchasing department
• Lead and develop the purchasing activities and processes in the daily operations as well as developing this with a long term perspective in mind
• Responsible for the development of operational plan, budget, government relations, reporting etc.
• Actively develop and maintain suppliers
• Performing risk assessments on potential and existing contracts and agreements.
• Identify and capture efficiency and cost savings and working capital improvements
• Act as gatekeeper for all supplier and products entering the site to ensure right price, quality and just in time.
• Enforce that global procurement processes are implemented and upheld at site.
• Represent the site in Perstorp's procurement network and represent Procurement in site Management team
The successful candidate possesses a;
• University education or equivalent and years of experience in procurement management
• Modern leadership style with high degree of inclusion and openness
• Training in labour management, labour law, health and safety
• Training in the management system and relevant IT systems
• Expertise in ERP system SAP
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish
As a person you need to be an excellent negotiator and a good communicator, being direct, honest and trained to discuss on all levels in our company. You also need strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a good blend of strategic competence and operational understanding.
