Our Swedish operations has 300 employees located in Sundsvall and Örebro.
We are looking for candidates for the vacant European Purchasing Manager positon. The European purchasing department consists of total 8 employees in Sundsvall, Örebro and Leipzig, Germany.

Duties:
The job holder is responsible to create, improve and maintain the business relation with Bucher Emhart Glass suppliers, by managing the European Purchasing Group. The Purchasing Manager develops within the supply chain team strategies to operate a supply chain in accordance with demand patterns and logistic setups for our project and parts business serving our global manufacturing, assembly and distribution facilities. Supplier performance and cost effectivity are from highest importance.
Qualifications and personal characteristics:
The successful candidate has proven working experience as purchasing manager in the manufacturing industry, strong negotiation skills and is familiar with sourcing and vendor management.
You are experienced in leading, motivating and developing people and you are used to building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholder. As a person you are highly self-motivated, organized, result-oriented, good in problem solving and strategic thinking. Excellent English in verbal and written is a requirement next to Swedish. Any additional language is an asset. The purchasing department is part of the Logistics & Manufacturing. You report to the Senior Director End to End Supply Chain, placed in the head office in Steinhausen, Switzerland.

Fluent in spoken and written English and preferably German. Welcome with your application in English
