We are in an intense period where we invest in new equipment with the goal of moving from today's three line factory to a more efficient two line factory. Skutskär Mill produces 550 000 tonnes of paper and fluff pulp of our customers are processed into including graphic fine paper, cardboard boxes, air-laid products and diapers.
Work description
Business area Biomaterials is looking for a purchaser to Skutskär Mill. This position will work with special attention to support Skutskärs organization to increase the commercial procurement skills.
Business Area Biomaterials offers a challenge to a person who has the drive to support the development at Skutskär Mill to the next level as well as contributing to the development of purchasing within Skutskär Mill and the business area.
As a mill purchasing manager you have responsibility and headship over a group of two purchasers and two purchasing administrators. You will have an overall commercial responsibility for the indirect purchase which represents a substantial part of the total fixed costs. You will carry through negotiations and develop co-operations with intern supplier both for service and materials.
Another task for the purchasing manager is to drive and develop the purchase work in close co-operation with the mill organization. An important part of the job is to co-operate with business areas in purchase matters.
You will also actively participate in the department's development of processes and routines. Common Group and Business area purchase projects can occur.
Requirements
Economic and/or technical education on higher level or equivalent experience is required. You have experience of similar work position or similar work assignments.
You have an understanding for the purchasing business and have experience of negotiations and procurement. Technical experience in the industry is an advantage.
English is the spoken language in the concern but a lot of intern communication and negotiations will be in Swedish so the job requires that you are fluent, spoken and written, in both languages. You have good knowledge in Microsoft office, especially Excel. Experience of working in SAP is an advantage as well as experience of management.
You are communicative, quick to cooperate and to work both in teams and independently. Other personal qualities we like to see is that you have an analytical ability, acts commercial and proactive and have a positive attitude for challenges.
