About the Role

Now you have chance to join the team that forms the future logistics process for Nobia in the Nordics. If you have a strong interest in purchasing and to find the optimum balance between service and costs from a total perspective, this is the role for you.

In the role as Purchasing Manager, you will establish operational excellence of purchasing an inventory management of purchases materials in the Nordics according to defined supplier agreements. You will work with a total cost- and service focus from a regional perspective.

Since the organisation and the processes is in a built-up face you will have a great opportunity to form your own future.

Responsibilities

• Establishing an ownership of the process for purchasing
• Establish and ownership of inventory management of purchased materials
• Manage a team of purchaser located on our Nordic sites
• Contribute to develop purchasing to support Nobia strategy
• Ownership of process documentation
• Develop strong relationships with the purchasing stakeholders
• Ownership of purchasing related KPI: s
• Cooperate with strategic sourcing regarding supplier performance and agreement requirements

To be successful in this role we think that you have...

• A university degree in logistics and several years of experience of from a management role within the logistics field in a production environment. Or a very long experience with documented good results from an equal role.
• A very good knowledge in purchasing and planning processes, both from an operational and system support perspective. And a very good understanding of the full supply chain and the impact of different decisions.
• A team-first mindset. You should be a team player and prioritise the teams result before you own. And you should be used to lead a team to reach defined targets.
• A fluent English language, both oral and written

• Ability to identify and manage improvements within purchasing and inventory management
• Analytical thinking from a holistic perspective
• Stakeholder management using influencing
• Financial understanding
• Process mapping knowledge
• SAP experience is seen as an advantage

The role is located in Jönköping but traveling a couple of times per year is required
