In Stora Enso Sourcing Wood Products we are leading all Sourcing activities for the division Stora Enso Wood Products with the target to support daily business, reduce procurement spend as well as development of the function towards best practice. Stora Enso Wood Products provides wood-based innovations and solutions for everyday living and housing needs. Its product range covers all areas of urban construction, from supporting structures to interior design and environmental construction. The further-processed products include massive wood elements and housing modules, wood components and pellets. A variety of sawn timber goods complete the selection.
Description
Stora Enso Wood Products are looking for a clear, visible and courageous person to establish the Sourcing organization for Operations Northern Europe, with the ambition to succeed in making the sourcing function an integral part in achieving the Business objectives. With a strong, solid background in purchasing and supply chain management, you will take a proactive approach to review current systems and procedures, clarify recommendations, build trust and implement the organization and changes accordingly. The role is a key to lead the company forward in securing suppliers quality, price delivery and sustainability.
Located at Ala Sawmill in Sweden you will be responsible for building the sourcing organization for sawmills in Sweden, Finland, Russia and Estonia. The position is combined with the operative purchasing role for Ala Sawmill. You will report directly to SVP Sourcing Wood Products. The primary responsibility of this position is to run sourcing to assigned targets, business needs and market opportunities, lead and coach own team and to manage performance of own functional budget as well as own targets.
Qualifications
You have a collage/university degree in economics, business, or engineering, or equivalent work experience, including at least three years' successful working experience within purchasing with focus on strategic sourcing with a passion for reducing costs. To be successful You have experience leading negotiating teams and good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal, and preferably an additional language fluently; Swedish, Finnish or German You are a skilled user of SAP MM or similar, MS Office. You are visible to our sourcing and business units as well as suppliers and you can both help to solve day to day issues as well as leading and inspire towards the big picture. You also dare to challenge existing ways of working and to take advantages of opportunities for improvements. You communicate in all types of situations and makes people feel listened to. The position requires travelling and is located to Stora Enso Timber Ala Saw Mill.
