Our products are for example used in the automotive, construction and commercial industries. Today Arla Plast is one of the leading extruders of plastic sheets in Europe. But that is not good enough. We continue to improve our products and technologies. We have three production units in Sweden and in Czech Republic, in which a total of almost 300 employees work. We sell globally and our turnover is 800 MSEK. Are you interested to take on a new challenge at Arla Plast?Your work assignmentsAs Purchasing Manager, you are responsible for the entire purchasing function in Sweden and Czech Republic. Both strategic and operational purchasing as well as direct and indirect material are included.Your responsibilitiesStrategic sourcingPurchasing of raw material, components, indirect material and capital expenditureContract negotiationsCross-functional cooperation with other departmentsDevelop the company's purchasing processRun or participate in development projectsBudgeting and forecastingTake part in the management team Your profileWe are looking for a candidate with Master of Science degree or equivalent. You have at least 5 years of work experience in purchasing, preferably from an international manufacturing industry. As a person, you are structured, analytical and result-oriented. You have a good technical understanding and are used to managing international business relationships. Fluency in English is a requirement, while Swedish and/or German is of advantage.
