Our customers are hospitals, Unit cares , medical laboratories, pharmaceutical and biotech companies. We offer a large selection of products in the following categories; Urology and renal, blood processing equipment, imaging diagnostic equipment and dental equipment.We are expanding our team and seeking to recruit a personable and self-motivated Purchasing Engineer who will be responsible for the purchasing function, while managing inventory levels, consistent quality, cost reduction and supplier relations. In this role you will be an important part of a growing international sales team and suppliers in delivery of quality products to the health care industry.Are you ready to develop and maintain an international supplier base? The position is full time and based in our head office in Växjö.Responsibilities:Manage the entire purchasing process, from the selection of supplier up to the finalization of the order. You will be responsible for comparing the bids, evaluating the final cost of the orders, negotiating the prices and terms of trade and logistics to completion of the contract.Establish, manage and maintain strong and resourceful relationships with suppliers and with their engineering teams on opportunities for quality and cost improvements.Work independently as well as part of an international teamDefine the purchasing strategy and related activities of the business based on the company procurement strategies.Involve in all impacting purchase choice to minimize costs while ensuring requirements for quality, on-time delivery and pricing will be met.RequirementBsc degree in Engineering (physics or electronics)5 years of experience as a Purchasing Engineer or equivalent experience.Ability to read and understand technical drawingsStrong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skillsAbility to work and lead within a cross-functional environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed planning and organizing skills and ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Fluent in written and spoken English.Experience in a variety of projects in the Middle East is important.Have a great networking skill and the ability and motivation to share your knowledge, experience and contacts with others.Well-developed planning and organizing skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines.If you are interested and match the profile, please send us a cover letter and a CV in Swedish or English where you describe your experience and expertise in the areas above.
