We are now looking for a Purchasing Director, Indirect Material and Services!
Description
The Purchasing department is responsible for all commercial businesses regarding direct and indirect material and services. The purchasing team is rapidly growing and contains of approx. 40 persons located in Trollhättan and additional 12 persons in our local China office. The team is operating in a well-defined global purchasing process based on team work between Buyers, SQE's & Cost Engineers.
The organization that you will be Director of consists of four employees and are responsible for all the purchasing activities related to indirect material, with a deep integration in NEVS company structure. In this role you will lead this organization and report to the Purchasing Vice President. As director you will be co-ordinating with our purchasing team in China.
Your role involves;
• Lead and develop sourcing strategies, operation strategies, business plan and process improvements.
• Achieve cost reductions target.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders and suppliers.
• Work and collaborate with the key stakeholders to achieve timely sourcing and budget saving.
• Proactively support the organization when needed.
• Review and approve all the sourcing and contracts within delegation of authority.
• Improve overall organizational capability throughout systematic approaches, processes, and talent development program.
• Develop metrics to analyze and measure supplier performance against commitments.
• Lead and develop individual employees and the team.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has;
• A Technical, Economic or Legal University degree or equivalent experience,
• Extensive experience in indirect material purchasing & building relations, 5-10 years,
• Management experience,
• Relevant experience in the automotive and process.
You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
