We are happy to announce that we are now hiring a colleague to strengthen our team at GTP, Business Office & IT.
The team is a global team with energy and creativity, who are willing to drive the change and strive for the best in order to deliver result.
Being part of the team you will have a position where you will suggest and drive transformational projects and implement improvements which is a key to success in this role. The main missions are:
To lead and support the IPS (Indirect Product & Services) line organization in managing and continuously improve and harmonize processes, systems and tools within IPS.
As business project manager be responsible for driving projects securing optimal business output by addressing the dimensions of quality, delivery precision, cost and requirements.
To lead improvement assignments, assessments and investigations, and act as a Business representative in reference and project teams.
Furthermore you will:
Be the global expert in one or several processes, systems and tools in the IPS processes
Own and drive the Continuous Improvement plan in your area, based on business needs and strategies
Develop and own training material in your area, act as trainer for the line organization as needed
Put requirements on IT solutions based on customer/receiver needs and benchmarks, interface with Group IT for enhancement of IT tools
Act as Process Manager and manage cross-functional interface with up/downstream processes
Manage IS/IT projects in accordance with applicable methodologies and KPIs
Lead investigations and portfolio pre-studies
Interact with key stakeholders both within Purchasing and in other functions
Lead and manage the network of people involved in the assignments
This is the profile we are looking for:
Proven experience in working with the SAP/Ariba product suite
General purchasing knowledge and excellent experience from Indirect Purchasing.
Good in communication and stakeholder management
Business understanding
Intercultural Leadership
Customer Focus - Ability to put what is best for Volvo Group in focus
Data Management & Analytical Skills
At least 5 years of documented project management experience
Proven experience in applying the Project Handbook Methodology
Strong leadership and project management skills
University degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration
Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
