Right now we are looking for the right person to fill an opening position as a Purchasing Administrator within our Operations department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Purchasing administrator you will support our purchasers with day to day tasks such as:
• Respond to e-mail requests from suppliers, Axis order department, Axis production planners, Axis logistic department and other departments within Axis.
• Material planning and follow up deliveries
• Post invoices
As a Purchasing administrator you will also:
• Be an active part of the purchasing team
• Continuously improve the cooperation with our suppliers
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have a university or similar post-secondary education within purchasing and logistics as well as experience of material planning in a global company.
You should also be well acquainted with ERP/MRP systems and the use of them. You have very good English skills, both in oral and writing.
In addition to above we believe you are a service minded individual who know how to approach and talk to suppliers. You are very structured and its key in this position to have a professional and friendly attitude as you will be one of the Axis interface for many of our important suppliers.
THE SUPPLY TEAM
The Supply team at Axis is responsible for the material supply of Axis’ products and all related activities. Supply is a function within the Operations department, which also consists of Production, Logistics, Customer Order, Demand Management, Quality, Sourcing, Production Preparation and Facilities functions. Together we fulfill our customers’ demands and provide them with high class service.
The Supply team works closely with the customer order, quality and fulfillment departments.
