As our Purchaser for the Logistics and Equipment category, you will have the full responsibility for securing the Group Procurement purchasing from end-to-end in the area of Storage Solutions, one of our biggest accounts. More specifically, this role is focused on supplier management, which means that you will:
Build long-term partnerships with key suppliers
Create trustful relationships with stakeholders to identify business needs
Handle supplier management and supplier performance
Deliver results based on the category strategy
Drive business improvements globally
Monitor external market conditions actively to find new business opportunities within your subsegment

You are a senior purchaser with outstanding supplier management experience. You are comfortable navigating in an international business environment, and you have a proven track record in delivering business results. You have the desire to find new opportunities to improve business and have the capability to communicate the vision, influence the decisions and secure the deployment of business cases.
Additionally, you are entrepreneurial, have a strong drive and use fact-based business capabilities to support you in making the right decisions. You also have a deep understanding about cost drivers and how they impact the total value chain. You do this by leading your area of responsibility with a holistic view, always acting with the customer, supplier, and total IKEA in mind.
You identify very much with our values and enjoy creating an environment where the IKEA values are a strong and living reality. Furthermore, to be successful in this role, you have:
Solid experience within purchasing combined with a technical mindset
A university degree in business administration, engineering or corresponding
Stakeholder and supplier management experience
Fluent spoken and written English skills
