Purchaser IT Services
Volvo Cars Purchasing is looking for two IT Purchasers to join our Indirect Purchasing department. You will be placed within the Services function with main responsibility for driving and developing the IT purchasing work within selected commodities. Volvo Cars Purchasing is ultimately responsible for the selection of all Volvo Cars' suppliers and has the responsibility for the procurement of all production and non-production material and services to Volvo Cars. The supply of materials and services- to the right quality, in the right quantity and on time- is essential to the smooth running of the company and to match our customer's expectations.
Job profile:
• Responsibility for sourcing of software development, licenses and hardware.
• Identifying sourcing needs
• Carrying out market analysis and bench marking studies
• Performing supplier evaluation and negotiations
• Leading supplier selections activities
• Finalizing contracts
• Building, developing and maintaining competitive supplier strategies (commodity strategies)
Your profile:
• University degree or equivalent working experience
• Purchasing experience within the IT area
• Interest in IT and automotive industry
• Ability to drive for results and passion for business
• Analytical thinking and able to challange
• Positive mindset and outgoing personality
• Enjoy working in team and interact with people
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, oral and written.
