About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Purchaser to join our growing team. As a Purchaser, you will play a key role in supporting our internal teams, particularly in product development, system project delivery, and production. You will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing and procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of materials and components. This is a hands-on role within a dynamic environment, offering opportunities to make a tangible impact on the company's operations.
Responsibilities: Oversee project and operational purchasing for RD, Operations, and System deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
Negotiate and follow up on supplier agreements, coordinating company-wide purchasing needs and orders.
Monitor deliveries to ensure compliance with lead times, quality, and costs, while identifying and implementing process improvements.
Support project assessments, including budgets, timelines, and assembly, and resolve any purchasing-related issues.
Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing through presentations and assist with freight, logistics, and stock management.
Help enhance purchasing processes in the ERP system and play a key role in quarterly stock-taking.
Who We Are Looking For
We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of professional experience, including 3 years in purchasing or a related field. You have a service-oriented mindset and enjoy supporting others, always taking a proactive approach to improve processes and systems. We value an open attitude and a strong willingness to learn. A relevant secondary education is preferred, along with a genuine interest in technology.
Working in a smaller, growing company means you'll need to be flexible and hands-on, collaborating closely with different teams and offering support where needed. You'll take a proactive, solution-oriented approach to help us grow together while contributing to a positive, dynamic work environment.
As part of our hiring process, we place great importance on personality and how well you align with our team culture. This role will also require you to be fluent in English and you have to be able to travel 2-10 times per year.
N.B. Fluency in French is considered a plus.
