At the moment we are looking for a Purchaser to join the Supply team within our Operations department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Supply team is responsible for the material supply of Axis products. We are 16 persons within the team. The collaboration interfaces includes all departments within Operations.
As a purchaser in our team you will:
• Continuously monitor and improve supplier performance and develop the cooperation.
• Achieve continuous improvement in the conditions with some of our suppliers
• Perform supplier evaluation
• Work for cost savings
• Create purchase orders
• Ensure materials are delivered on time
• Keep our business system up to date with the latest information from suppliers
The position requires approximately 30 days of travelling a year.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven, structured and organized person with an eye for details. Your are highly target orientated and proactive by nature. You can work independently but at the same time you have a strong ability to collaborate across organizational and cultural borders. Your high level of customer orientation makes you good at developing and maintaining important relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. You also have:
• A university degree in Supply Chain Management or similar
• Experience from working in an international organization
• Experience of at least 3 years of purchasing
• Good general logistical knowledge
You are used to planning your own activities, driving initiatives and being responsible for the result.
