The Allgon Microwave portfolio of so called PDH and SDH solutions, offers cost efficient digital point-to-point microwave products in the 7-38 GHz frequency bands with high quality and most value adding features on the market. The microwave portfolio has been deployed in more than 50 countries and at more than 200 customers. The head office is situated in Montreal, Canada under the Advantech AMT Inc group. Our current Purchaser has pursued his career within Allgon Microwave and we are now looking to recruit a new Purchaser to join our Operations team in Gothenburg.
Tasks:
This role combines the work as a Project Purchaser and a Strategic Purchaser. The role is organized within Operations. Some of the main tasks are:
• To support the development projects to achieve total cost effectiveness
• Initiate and carrying on cost saving activities
• Supplier selection and monitoring of suppliers
• Negotiations with suppliers
• Commercially responsibility of suppliers
Requirements:
• An academic degree
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience from similar work and/or business area
• Negotiation skills
• Strong commercial skills
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.
• Skilled computer user, in particular Office and MPS such as Movex
To suit this position you have excellent communication and team working skills. You are result oriented with a forward thinking approach. Furthermore you have excellent problem solving skills and are used to work independently. You need a technical background and commercial understanding.
