We are looking for Purchasing Assistant who will be part of the global production and supply chain team. You will be responsible for supporting sourcing related activities both strategic and back-office responsibilities and to ensure compliance in place, manage data for these transitions.
Your days will be filled with:
Support with sourcing strategies as per organization's overall goals and objectives
Ensure supplier compliance for all tier suppliers (code of conduct, NDA, contracts etc)
Responsible for evaluating prospective suppliers, onboarding process and claims handling towards suppliers
Support with daily procurement activities example- vendor approvals, vendor onboarding and vendor performance evaluation
Responsible for managing contracts and prepare reports
Improving procurement process and monitor procurement budget and expenses
Work with key stakeholders on sourcing proposals
Identify, analyze, and recommend cost savings opportunities
Understanding of categories and spend types
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, and take appropriate action to address any issues
Purchase direct & indirect materials according to forecast, demand in our ERP system
Analyze, calculate, monitor inventory levels on active device, legacy product lines and accessories
Follow up on delivery schedules, drive improvement and communicates status internally during the sustain phase
We are looking for someone with:
Bachelor's or master's in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or relevant field
Experience as purchasing assistant, supply chain coordinator, sourcing assistant or relevant field with minimum 2 years experience
Experience working with Microsoft suite- Excel, PPT etc.
Knowledge of contract life cycle, understanding of procurement compliance
Ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies
Strong Negotiation skills and managing contracts with suppliers
Understanding of supplier management process
Understanding of different ERP and CRM systems
Good written and oral communication skills in English. Any European languages is a bonus
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and team player
