As Purchase to Pay - Harmonization lead within Global Finance Operations you will lead the harmonization work of the global process towards standardization, leading practices and agreed efficiency improvement targets. This will be done together with the Finance Delivery Organization, the Development Organization and local finance. This work will provide a great opportunity for the right person to gain knowledge about Volvo Cars finance processes and tools and further develop your leadership skills. Significant interaction and close cooperation cross all areas within Volvo Cars is required.
The Purchase to pay area includes the processes for invoice registration, matching and payment for vendors or other external partners. It is cross functional and involves stakeholders in for example Purchasing, Logistics and Manufacturing.
Main responsibilities
* Lead and drive process harmonization and standardization for global process
* Provide subject matter expertise and support in complex or critical process activities
* Develop policies, processes and operating procedure
Required qualifications
* University degree in Business Administration or equivalent with at least 5-8 years relevant experience from finance related processes and project and program management
* Excellent knowledge of Finance processes and policies in scope with the ability to add business value in daily operations both on high and detailed level.
* Extensive knowledge around automation for Purchase to Pay
* Very good knowledge and experience of process management tools and techniques
* Ability to work and be comfortable in a dynamic environment under continuous development
* Proactive approach with ability to prioritize to deliver on commitments with tight deadlines
* Highly developed analytical skills
* High energy, proactive and result oriented with customer focus
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Fluent in English, verbally and written
