Kalmar is looking for a PSE Mechanical Integration.
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out work and taking ownership of the systems design within the function. This includes, but is not limited to: defining and implementing WoW and providing expertise and support in all phases of a project or product.
The location of this position is Ljungby, Sweden and you will report to the Engineering Manager, Mechanical.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
To define specifications for components and systems in co-operation with Chief Engineers and Line Manager
Set up a Development plan for the system area
To lead assigned work with partners, consultants and suppliers
Develop components and systems and ensure that specified technical customer demands, product safety, legislations requirements and internal demands are met
Lead and coordinate components and systems design between CB products
Definition and implementation of "Way of Working" within the System area
Responsible for ensuring that purchased components and systems comply with standards
In consultation with the responsible Line Manager plan and perform activities according to specified requirements and project milestones
To ensure cooperation between R&D teams
Responsibility for regularly reporting to Line Manager regarding outcome and possible deviations
In consultation with the responsible Line Manager purchase component for test and evaluations
In consultation with the responsible Line Manager define a test plan, purchase components, execute and evaluate outcome where a need has been identified
In consultation with responsible Line Manager perform customer and supplier visits.
What you'll need to succeed:
Education:
B.Sc or M.Sc. degree within relevant field or similar knowledge through experience.
Experience:
Solid technical knowledge regarding non-road mobile machinery or similar rubber tire vehicles
Experience of product development activities within mechanical engineering is needed
Experience from similar tasks are qualifying
Experience regarding other Kalmar products are qualifying.
