hela Sverige Volvo Buses is now seeking a Prototype Material Coordinator who has the drive and passion to contribute to Volvo buses profitability. Build and Vehicle Management is a department within Platform Development. We are responsible for our test objects. The projects new builds and re-builds are managed here, so is the procurement of the material and chemicals necessary to the projects. The vehicle test fleet planning and maintenance is managed with the purpose to keep it up to date with the market and projects' needs.
As a Prototype Material Coordinator you consolidate the Bill of Materials (BoM) and create requisitions towards purchasing. You will work as an interface towards purchasing, suppliers and our factories. As SAP key user you support the organization regarding invoices, delivery control and goods handling among other areas.
Main tasks
• Secure communication with different stakeholders within the organization
• SAP Key User
• From BoM, consolidate and create requisitions of standard and prototype materials
• Supervise deliveries; prioritize between orders, supplier follow-up
In this position you will also be part of the Build and Vehicle Management is a team consisting of 12 team members, and report to the Build and Vehicle Management manager.

Profile:
Previous experience within the automotive industry and logistics is an advantage. You are used to working with computers and preferably also SAP applications. A service minded communicator with the ability build networks. You have a willingness to learn and contribute, to develop the role and our way of working. Since we are a global and local company you the ability to communicate in both English and Swedish is necessary.
• Good Communication skills: listening effectively and transmitting information accurately
• Business and Customer oriented mind-set. Understanding customer needs and addressing the needs to all organization stakeholders
• Sharing information and resources and working to achieve goals and results
• Engineering education BSc or relevant experience from automotive industry or logistic processes
• Good knowledge in English & Swedish, written and spoken
