Duties
As part of our long-term investment in occupational health , we are seeking a replacement to our Conservation Work Engineer , who is retiring .
Work Engineer's role is to work systematically to prevent accidents and prevent damage to the health of employees . To identify, measure and investigate the physical and chemical hazards in the workplace is an important part of the work, but it is also about to take action and ensure that everyone in the workplace has sufficient knowledge of the risks involved and how they can be avoided , and that follow up this work.
The engineer should also be adept at communicating risks to managers and solve health and safety problems by proposing adequate solutions . This may involve the introduction of new work practices or to the right requirements to subcontractors.
The engineer also contributes with knowledge of health and safety legislation and keep contacts with authorities . Work Engineer will work on the implementation of safety management systems and certification , and is responsible for the occupational health SAM training.
Be operational specialist within the work environment.
We are looking for an individual who is resourceful and independent, and shoud be able to express themselves in speech and writing. You should be willing to learn the Swedish language ! Interpersonal skills are also important.
Education / Experience
You have a post-graduate degree in the relevant fields, preferably a civil engineer with technical expertise . Protection / safety degree is a must. For those of you who have begun relevant training but not entirely finished , we can offer supervised practice .
The job is part-time alternatively full time. According to agreement , the seat is in Ljungby primarily but may be relevant to a radius of 60 km . We apply the probationary period of 6 months .
You need to have a driving license B.
