About us
Propulsion system CAE is part of Vehicle propulsion concept and architecture department. We work with the propulsion system for electric vehicles, which includes HV batteries, electric motors, inverters, transmissions, and chargers. The team is working with development of virtual methods including a software framework for simulation and analysis, and simulation of propulsion system attributes like energy efficiency and performance. This includes commercial tools in combination with in-house developed models and procedures.
What is in it for you?
As a machine learning & software engineer you work closely together with team members, product owner, scrum master, team manager and stakeholders to develop the tool chain for the in-house simulation and analysis framework. You will develop an in-house software framework including machine learning technology for pre- and post-processing of simulation data as well as automated execution of simulations. Furthermore, you will develop machine learning models of the propulsion system for implementation in existing simulation frameworks.
Main Responsibilities Can Include the Following Tasks
* Development of in-house framework for simulation and analysis
* Implementation of simulation framework in existing CI solutions
* Development of machine learning models of the propulsion system
You and your skills
* Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Physics or equivalent
* Python (C++ is a merit)
* Machine learning
* Git
* Shell scripting
* Experience with UNIX/Linux environment
* Experience with CI/CD
Meritorious skills
* Visualization tools, e.g., Elastic stack + Kibana, Grafana, Power BI
* Agile ways of working
* Experience working with development, integration, deployment, and orchestration technologies (such as Git/Gerrit, Cynosure, Artifactory, Jenkins)
