Propulsion Strategist Electrification

Vehicle Propulsion Strategy is a Section within the Vehicle Propulsion Strategy & Innovation department, consisting of 10 employees. The section works with defining Powertrain's long term strategies and securing a competitive Powertrain offer for our future customers. We work in close co-operation with all departments within Vehicle Propulsion as well as with Product Planning defining our future product plan for Propulsion.
What's in it for you?
As a Powertrain Strategist you will be responsible for developing the future strategies and plans for our electrified powertrains, align technology & manufacturing capability with customer and business needs. Work will be done X-functionally within the department and in close co-operation with the Product Stream owner for electrification as well as affected development areas and Product Planning.
What you'll do
You will be responsible for developing product strategies for our electric propulsion drivelines and to plan future technical content with focus on business and customer needs. You manage and coordinate cross functional technology studies driving decisions on changes to our development and product plans.
It is also part of your mission to manage technology exploration within the field of electric propulsion and secure supporting activities in our Advanced Engineering portfolio.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a University degree in engineering
You need a broad expertise in the field of Powertrain technology with experience in product development and/or product strategies in the automotive industry, and you are well trained to create/refine presentation materials
We assume that you are proficient in Excel and master fluent English (spoken and written)
As a person you have a holistic approach and ability to understand the big picture
You are self-motivated, structured, with good analytical skills and a strong interest in product strategies
You have the skills and proven ability to work in a team and you described as business and results-driven
Of course, you are also a good Communicator with excellent corporation skills!
