At this moment we are working with the development of the new Fuel cell products and targeting to have zero-emission combustion engines available in a near future.

Who are you?
You are passionate about developing the cooling system that will meet the future demands of our customers. You have a good understanding of the transport solutions and the requirements on the cooling system. The development work will of the products adapted to fuel cell transport solutions, hybrid engines, and combustion engines fascinates you. You would like to be a member of the cooling system team and lead the work to optimize the cooling system.
We believe that you are a person with a curious mindset that gets energy from developing new technical solutions. You understand what it takes to be part of a team in order to develop a good solution. In your previous employments you have developed analytic skills and learnt the importance of developing new technical products in a structured and organized way. If you have experience of system development, hardware development or in the simulation area it is seen as beneficial. Your former positions have given you a good level of understanding the component features as well as knowledge and experience from engine design and controls. You know that the details matters and when it is necessary to take actions in order to adjust properly. You value an open and honest environment where trust enables high performing teams. What you will do
The cooling system is split in different organizations within the company where the key success factor will be collaboration and teamwork. The main task is to keep the propulsion part of the cooling system together and synchronized with all the other different organizations. Your daily work will include a wide range of activities examples setting the roadmap for the future, agreeing on the requirements for the product, creating and update test codes, provide input to hardware development, give recommendations, lead workshops and development work. You will develop a good understanding of our development process for both the system and the components. All your work will be related to the development of the new fuel cell products and the combustion engines. The purpose is to fulfil the demands of an exciting future charged with a wide range of technical challenges.
Who are we?
The Cooling System group is a part of the Base Engine department in Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) based in Gothenburg. The group is global design responsible and system responsible for Cooling system for heavy duty products both for Fuel cell electric products and the combustion engines of the future.
We are proud product owners and accountable for the lifecycle management of our products, from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase. On a daily base we cooperate with the other engineering organizations, purchasing department, projects, test engineers and suppliers as well as our colleagues at the sites in France, USA, Japan and Brazil. Our products are used in more than 190 markets and considered to be part of the core business.
