We are looking for two new team members to play an important role in the future development of cooling system components for our heavy-duty combustion engines, electromobility vehicles as well as fuel cell vehicles.
Who are you?
You enjoy working cross functional, sharing your knowledge and thrive while working in a team. You aspire like to be a member of the cooling system team and be responsible for the development of coolant pumps and associated components for combustion, electromobility and fuel cell vehicles. You have relevant experience in activities starting from component development to solving serial quality issues and can take responsibility for the whole chain. Working to improve environmental impacts of components and system is important to you. You can share the purpose to fulfil the demands of an exciting future charged with a wide range of technical challenges. The possibility to explore new technologies and find synergies while developing the best cooling system components inspires you.
We believe that you are a person with a curious mindset, self-driven with a can-do attitude. You understand what it takes to be part of a team to develop good solutions and a joyful workplace. In your previous employments you have developed analytical skills and learnt the importance of developing new technical products in a structured and organized way. Former positions have given you a good level of understanding component features. You have good knowledge and experience from engine design and controls. You pay attention to details and can take necessary actions when required. You value an open and honest environment where trust enables high performing teams.
Who are we?
The Cooling System group is a part of the Base Engine department in Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) based in Gothenburg. The group has global design and system responsibility for several cooling functions within heavy duty combustion engines, electromobility vehicles as well as fuel cells vehicles.
We are proud product owners and accountable for the lifecycle management of our products, from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase. On a daily base we cooperate with purchasing, projects, test engineers and suppliers as well as our colleagues at the sites in France, USA, and Brazil. Our products are used in more than 190 markets and considered to be part of the core business.
