Property Transaction and Leases is a global function within Group Real Estate (GRE). We have the overall responsibility for the Volvo Group property lease portfolio, strategic property planning. Complementing this we drive property transaction projects and manages the property dimension of Group wide M&A projects.
We work in close collaboration with Group Real Estate Divisions and Functions as well as directly with Group Trucks Divisions and Business Areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As Property planning and lease Director you are responsible for the strategic view of the property portfolio and with that follows governance of the Volvo Group Property Portfolio and lease database and as well as give guidance in own vs. lease decisions. You also have the global responsibility for development of the property lease process. By driving the different areas in scope in close collaboration with GRE operations you ensure a long term quality and efficiency within your area of responsibility.
With your mindset and focus, you will contribute in building a strong continuous improvement culture for the function in order to reach the Group Real Estate target image.
You will report to the Vice President Property Transaction and Leases.
Your main focus will be:
Proactively drive property planning initiatives including own vs. lease recommendations
Drive benchmarking when it comes to cost and content as well as develop targets and action plans to work more efficient
Govern, maintain and develop the Property Portfolio Database structure, processes and adequate and usable reporting
Governance of the Property Lease Process
Maintain and Develop Property lease terms and lease contract structure
Work together with GRE Divisions to secure a globally coherent process for lease
Support in preparing and presenting investment request for new leases as well and renewal of lease agreements
Support divisions in analyzing business cases regarding rent or buy Drive property related project initiatives

Master of Science/MBA or other relevant university background or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
Extensive knowledge in the real estate area, particularly within the property lease domain.
Demonstrated experience in business analysis, development or strategy work.
You are a structured, analytical and communicative person with an eye for detail. You can analyze and visualize information and build a storyline.
