Background
Our client is growing due having won an increasing number of infrastructure projects
involving road, rail, bridges, traffic structures and tunneling. They work on many of the
most exciting and challenging projects in Sweden. The main customer will be
Trafikverket. Projects can be spread throughout the whole of Sweden, but Stockholm,
Gothenburg and Malmö regions are main areas in which you will be involved in various
projects.
The development of our clients business in Sweden and the Nordic market are managed
from their office in Stockholm. They are expanding quickly in Sweden and are currently
involved in a number major transport infrastructure projects with many more in the
pipeline.
They are now looking for a number of Project Managers, Designers and Planners on
transport infrastructure both road and rail though will also for be looking for candidates
with experience of water engineering, architecture, town planning, environment, industry
and energy. Its scope of action covers the entire engineering value chain (planning,
design, construction and operation), providing services to public and private companies,
and joint ventures.
You as the designer will work with road or rail design but also get the opportunity to
collaborate with our other consultants work on major infrastructure projects. In addition,
you will participate in the preparation of technical specifications, costing, time and
resource planning as well as participate in technology development. They are looking for
creative people committed to the long term strengthening and broadening their range of
services.
You should have anywhere between 15 years experience in civil or infrastructure
engineering and possibly ground/street/traffic/planning. It is an advantage if you have
worked AutoCad, Civil3D and/or Novapoint. You should have a degree or equivalent
experience.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications
• Good communication skills and good knowledge of Swedish, good knowledge of
English is an advantage
• Some experience in the design of road and/or rail
• Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Civil or similar
• Good knowledge and skills in CAD, Civil3D and/or Novapoint.
• Desire to work in a consultancy environment
• Proactive and flexible and have excellent communication skills
