To strengthen our competence in the field of metal forming, we are looking for a
Project manager in metal forming
(Projektledare, metallformning)
Sökord: Civilingenjör, Högskoleingenjör, PhD, licentiat, doktor, mekanik, konstruktör, formning,
gjutning, valsning, stansning, bearbetning, plåt, stål, metall.
Key Tasks
• To initiate, define and perform activities and lead projects dealing with the R&D,
manufacture and installation of metal forming processes and equipment in the SKF Group.
• Develop and optimise current and new forming processes.
• To support our customers with metal forming, material behaviour knowledge and project
management.
• To develop new tools and tooling systems for process control and monitoring.
• To keep aware of external developments and translate new ideas into opportunities
for the SKF Group.
• To work with universities, research institutes and suppliers to develop new competence
for the SKF Group.
Requirements
• University or equivalent technical education in mechanical or material engineering.
• Documented experience in project management and in development of forming
processes such as forging, forming, rolling and stamping.
• Experience from manufacturing is an advantage.
• A self-motivated, proactive team worker with good communication skills.
• Good ability to speak and write in English; a second or third foreign language is an
advantage (e.g. German, French, Spanish).
• Willingness to travel and to work abroad on short assignments.
