For the Nynas Engineering Projects Department, in Nynäshamn we are now looking for a Project Manager.
The Project Department is a part of the Engineering Department providing detailed engineering, construction and installation services of capital projects for the Nynas group. The Project Engineering team's main challenges are to increase safety, efficiency, competence in terms of quality within practical detailed and construction, and to ensure high quality project executions. Therefore we urgently need to recruit a Project Manager.
Your responsibility areas:
The areas of responsibility as the manager of the project engineers is to develop the Project Engineering team and systems to secure delivering projects with a very high safety and quality standard. The projects are mainly in Nynäshamn, but other locations are also possible.
Among your main challenges Manageing the Project Engineering Group to execute projects for the refinery units including improvement of efficiency, reliability, and capacity of the units. You will also participate in larger projects as part of the project team. You will work closely to asset managers, operation, process engineers and external consultants and contractors.
The successful candidate:
• Have a master of science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and preferably a few years experience from equivalent work within the process industry or oilrefining, or has an academic degree and several years experience from the refinery or petrochemical industry.
• Has experience of and shows good Managerial skills
• Has knowledge within project management, rules and regulations of installations.
• Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English
• Is interested in project management development and be challenged by constantly looking at improved solutions
• Is a team player with strong personal skills.
To do well in this position you need to be self-reliant, accurate, have the ability to work independently as well as in teams, sometimes under time constraints. You are structured and result oriented with strong communication skills. You should have a drive for results, a concern for doing a good job.
