The Process Equipment department develops, manufactures and delivers process equipment specifically designed to meet the demands of product development and manufacturing of cemented carbide inserts. The work is organized in projects run according to the Lean Product Development working model and is conducted in co-operation with the product development and manufacturing organization.
Key performance areas
You are expected to act as the link between design and manufacturing of equipment, screening the market for suitable suppliers, having technical discussions with suppliers and ensuring that the required material and parts are available in time for manufacturing. Important tasks in this role are to:
• Administrate quotes, orders, order acknowledgements and invoices
• Make cost calculations and prepare offers
• Support the customers with spare parts deliveries
• Further develop the work and methods relating to purchasing and logistics
• Be responsible for contacts with suppliers in projects
• Follow up delivery deadlines and price setting, and conduct negotiations
Additionally, you will act as the assignment leader and owner of the assignment process in our department.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Economics or Logistics, for example with a focus on manufacturing, and several years' experience from a relevant position in a production operation. It is advantageous if you are accustomed to negotiating and have experience from limited series production. As the position includes a broad international network of contacts with, among others, external suppliers, consultants and production units, good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required. Knowledge of Swedish and other languages is advantageous.

Therefore, we expect that you are creative and innovative. It is also important that you are a team player with good cooperative abilities and clear communication.
