Innovation - Project Support

To realize CEVT's vision of becoming a world leading innovation center, a new Innovation Department has been created. The mission of the department is to strengthen the innovation capacity of the company by identifying, promoting and managing innovation initiatives within the field of mobility and with focus on customers' future needs. Innovation will take place in interaction with partners and in collaboration with our customers, suppliers, research institutes, authorities, small and middle-sized companies etc.

The Innovation department consists of three groups; Market Intelligence and Governance, Innovation Programs and Innovation Strategy and Ideation.

We are looking for an Innovation Project Support and. The position is part of the "Innovation Strategy and Ideation" department.

Responsibilities and Tasks

As Project Support you will participate to Innovation Projects of sub-projects, both in early and later phases. In a first stage, you will take the responsibility of a limited scope under the management of experienced leaders. Your role will be to ensure the delivery (technical, business, IP, physical prototypes, etc) of the (sub)-projects as specified by Project Management Team.

In addition to your role in Project Management, you will take the responsibility to translate on time all key documents to Chinese for Innovation Management Meeting. You will also support the communication with Geely management when coming to Innovation.

To achieve the results, you will:

- Actively drive parts of ongoing projects as specified by Innovation Project Management Team.
- Interact with the project team in order to ensure timely progression of the project
- Prepare reporting for the Project Review
- Develop understanding for the different Innovation activities to be able to present them for Geely Management

Profile and Background

- Academic degree in Technology and/or Business Development
- Social competence with ability to create confidence
- Ability to take initiative and drive some activities independently
- Good communication skills, in Chinese and English, orally as well as in writing
