Supply Chain Operations, Capital Equipment is responsible for the manufacture and supply of filling machines and distribution equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer's site. The Program Purchasing team primarily interfaces with the Development & Service Operations to define and achieve its project targets. We are responsible for organizing, managing and driving technology/development related sourcing, which contributes to the delivery of new machines to our customers at the right quality, time and cost.
Program Purchasing within Supply Chain Operations, Capital Equipment is currently looking for a Project Supply Manager - Carton Bottle. In this position you will work closely together with Development & Service Operations, and with our suppliers, providing value to Tetra Pak's customers through focus on Performance, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Standardisation.
Main responsibilities
• Participate in and develop the early project involvement of Supplier Management for the Carton Bottle Platform
• Work closely together with project manager within Development & Service Operations, mirrors the project manager from a Supply Chain perspective (manufacturability, leadtime, quality, cost)
• Analyse existing and potential suppliers, negotiations, risk assessments, audits and take responsible for sourcing and contracting of potential suppliers
• Drive cost estimation workshops together with Development & Service Operations and deliver early cost estimations (with focus on cost drivers and manufacturing design cost)
• Give feedback related to manufacturability and cost efficiency
Publiceringsdatum2012-02-02KvalifikationerIn order to succeed you will have at least 3 years experience from similar tasks within development and manufacturing of complex products as well as project management experience.
We believe that you have a University degree within a technical and/or commercial discipline. Experience in project management, good skills in supplier management, cost analysis and control are essential.Technincal knowledge and understanding from manufacturing industry and ability to understand drawings and estimate cost of components.
Further you need to have the ability to motivate others and to influence at all levels in the organisation. You are of course fluent both in written and spoken English.
