To be suitable for this assignment, we are looking for someone who is motivated and pays close attention to detail. You should have strong abilities in managing data, including advanced knowledge of power BI and Excel. Additionally, excellent communication skills and a passion for sustainability and supply chain are essential.
We expect you to be someone who is driven by achieving results, works well in a team, and has a mindset focused on processes. You should also be proactive and able to see the bigger picture. Furthermore, you should have the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Job Assignments
• Overseeing the purchasing process, making sure that materials and services are acquired in a timely and cost-effective manner, in coordination with the assigned team, business stakeholders, and in accordance with the client's procurement category strategies
• Taking charge of activities related to managing suppliers, following the strategy, process, and key performance indicators. This includes leading or supporting activities such as requesting quotations, negotiating contracts, and managing contracts. Additionally, it involves developing sourcing plans, conducting competitive bidding, and collaborating with stakeholders at various levels of seniority
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Possessing strong analytical abilities is crucial, as it enables the interpretation of data and the ability to make well-informed decisions
• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
• The capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting is necessary
• You are a business driver, you have the ability to work together with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders at your level or above to accomplish shared objectives and maintain strong working relationships. You have the capability to persuade others and make them understand and support your ideas. Additionally, you possess strong analytical, methodical, and efficient qualities
• Moreover, you possess a high level of commercial skills as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships, and negotiate effectively. You also have the capacity to coordinate activities with external organizations such as suppliers and customers, as well as different divisions within the company
Meritorious
• Having knowledge of SAP is advantageous
• Having relevant international experience
• Having experience in managing projects
• Having previous experience or internships in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
• Knowing other languages such as Italian and Swedish is a bonus
The consultant is expected to bring his/her own equipment. Regarding the onboarding process, a drug test needs to be performed before the assignment starts.
