Project Supplier Quality Development (SQD) Engineer

Department
The SQD department is globally set up and managed by regional managers. SQD reports to the Global Purchase Director. In Europe we have a team of 11 Project SQDs, 5 Commodity SQDs and 2 Supplier response team SQDs.
Job profile
As our new Projects Supplier Quality Development (SQD) Engineer you will be responsible for developing and monitoring the suppliers to ongoing Projects within EU.
Your main responsibilities are:
• Evaluation and validation of potential new suppliers according to strategies.
• Improvement of the supplier base by performing process audits and Run@Rate.
• Close interactions with suppliers to secure continuous improvement of their processes.
• Getting complete supplier PPAP in on time, and ensure that suppliers are complying with the APQP processes.
• Participating in project teams, responsible for supplier PPAPs.
• To resolve issues within launch phase to SOP + 90 days period, or after having passed Gate 6 of the NPI process
Candidate profile
Experience and skills:
• Ms. Engineer/ Technical Engineer background and at least five years' experience in manufacturing industry and quality, preferably in production/process engineering or quality engineering.
• It is preferred if you also have experience with ISO/TS and VDA 6.3 1st and 2nd party auditor qualification, as well as relevant quality tools and techniques (QAP, APQP, PPAP, root cause analysis, 8D, etc.).
Special requirements:
• Travel requirements fluctuate, but international traveling will be part of the job.
• Knowledge of AQPQ and ISO/TS.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint)
• Languages. Swedish and English compulsary.
