Sourcing at Husqvarna is organized within each business division securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply to Husqvarna on a global level. One of the key functions within sourcing is Sourcing project management. The Project Sourcing department within Husqvarna BD is responsible for having all major product development/sourcing projects within the Husqvarna BD to be executed in an efficient way to meet all our customer 's expectations.
We are now looking for a Project Sourcing Manager to lead Supplier Enabled Innovation projects. The Project Sourcing department consists of 13 employees in Huskvarna.
You will also belong to a global Project Sourcing organization and network where the right candidate is given wide opportunities to develop with the ambitious growth plan of the company.
Job Description
To proactively drive and follow up supplier enabled innovation projects according to the Product Creation Process and other defined support processes.
The objective is to deliver the project on time with agreed quality, cost, and features according to defined pre-requisites.
Be the sourcing representative in technology projects (Primary development).
Contribute to development of supporting processes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the cross-functional execution of responsibilities as described in PCP or applicable project related processes.
• Collect, document internal/external needs and requirements cross-functionally.
• Continuously provide status & information to stakeholders and appointed governance.
• Lead, manage & require project deliveries cross-functionally.
• Deliver optimized quality, total cost, lead time and feature according pre-requisites.
• Anchor defined deliverables x-functionally.
• For sub-projects, proactively contribute to the total project, reporting to PM.
• Secure quality and capability from the supplier base.
• Contribute and drive operational development within Project Sourcing function.
• Contribute & give Project input to Supplier base strategies, lead by Commodity.
• Lead Operational Development projects for the department.
• Continuously develop & share best practice in the role, using project management principles & deeper/wider Sourcing related skills & knowledge.
• Lead projects/Program with several functions involved, from single to multi continent/division.
You will report to Director Project Sourcing for Husqvarna Division. This position is located in Husqvarna.
Your Profile
• Minimum Bachelor's degree combined with work experience in relevant area.
• Documented work experience in research and development of hardware.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within project management of product development and industrialization.
• Business administration degree is an advantage
• PMP Project Management certification is an advantage
• Previous leadership experience as an advantage
• Experience within Sourcing/Purchasing an advantage
• Fluency in professional English is required (written and oral)
