hela Sverige As Project Scientist at CR Competence, you will be part of a team of innovative experts with a background in chemistry and physics. Together with the rest of the team, you will create new possibilities for our customers. The scope of the position is broad and the details will be dependent on you and the specific competence that you bring into the company. You will be responsible for leading and executing projects from the very start. This means that you will be expected to build relationships with new customers, initiate projects, handle experimental work and finally deliver solutions based on cutting-edge science and technology, well communicated to our clients.

Publiceringsdatum2013-04-23KvalifikationerWe are looking for an enthusiastic, curious, entrepreneurial, and creative candidate with the following qualifications:
• You have a PhD within chemistry or physics, preferably with a focus on formulation science, process technology, physical chemistry and/or polymer chemistry.
• You have your feet firmly planted on scientific ground and it is a great advantage if you have on-going collaborations or contacts with research groups at the University.
• You have been working in the industry with product development, project management, scientific problem solving or other creative assignments for at least 5 years. You have well documented experience of coordinating and leading projects and we would also prefer if you have had an extrovert role, representing the company in external collaborations.
• You master English fluently in speech and writing and it is an asset if you also master Swedish.
As a person you are innovative and creative in managing projects and finding new business opportunities. You listen to customers and the team's opinion, and you have a nose for what will be a success. You are curious and you have an open mind - neutrons, medicine, all is possible here! You are dead-serious about science, without ever losing you keen sense of humor.

CR Competence is a CRO company with expertise in formulation science, colloidal technology and surface chemistry, and our business is contract research. We assist our clients by using our knowledge and understanding of appropriate fields of chemistry and physics. This mainly deals with understanding the interactions between molecules and/or particles in bulk, as well as between molecules, particles and interfaces. Examples include improvements of pharmaceutical formulations, characterization of surfaces for medical devices, understanding of adhesion and adsorption phenomena, and correlation of performance to structure in cosmetic products.
Through CR Competence; academic resources and a genuine understanding is made useful in business while interesting questions and systems are brought into academia.
