With equipment and software from Optisort it's possible to not only efficiently sort waste products and materials into fine-grained fractions but also to collect information about the sorted material. Our customers are recyclers and waste management companies.
We are now looking for an excellent project manager with the capacity to head the future product management for our most important product, our battery sorting system.
As Project/Product Manager for battery sorting you have basically two goals: to make things happen and to keep our customer the happiest customers on the planet. You'll be setting up and manage our customer projects to ensure that the targets for time schedule, technical specification and budget are met. You are working closely together with our R&D and manufacturing teams as well as with our sub-suppliers. You will also be responsible for the product management of our battery sorting system which means you are expected to identify business opportunities as well as technical possibilities within battery sorting.
Your immediate todo-list:
Take on the project management hat in our current customer projects
Plan component supplies together with our R&D team
Plan and follow up on deliveries from our sub-suppliers
Discuss and create proposals for our new customers
Plan manufacturing and erection of our plants on our customers sites
Support our CEO in fair exhibitions (this year in the Netherlands and China)
Stay in contact with our customers and manage maintenance
Plan for, and manage, the future development of our products in battery sorting
Necessary skills
You have experienses from project management, have good cooperation and negotiating skills and great sense for what makes customers happy. You must have a technical background, preferably from mechanics, automation or industrial product design and we?d love to see great skills in CAD. The higher education the better but we do care more about people than degrees. If you know the recycling business it's fantastic but don't feel any fear if you don't. You will learn fast.
You will travel a lot. More than 90 per cent of our current and potential customers are abroad. Normally we don't stay away from home more than 2-5 days each time.
