At NKT, we design, manufacture and install power cable solutions that enable the transition to sustainable energy. As Project Procurement Manager, you will secure offshore and onshore installation services from the market for complex cable projects. This is an opportunity to work with subcontracting, sourcing and project procurement in an international environment where your work supports reliable energy transmission.Coordinate subcontracts for complex cable installation projectsAs Project Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for subcontracting activities in projects, with a focus on safe and cost-effective offshore and onshore installation services. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, project teams and legal colleagues to ensure that subcontracts meet project needs, commercial requirements, technical scope and time plans.Your responsibility will be to:
Secure subcontracts for offshore and onshore installation services
Coordinate procurement activities with projects, stakeholders and legal colleagues
Manage commercial and contractual discussions with suppliers
Review scope, technical requirements and project time plans
Support quality, cost and delivery expectations in project procurement
This position offers a hybrid set-up, and includes regular domestic and international travel. You will be part of the Procurement team and report to the Director of Project Procurement.
Profile description:Commercial procurement professional for subcontracting projectsWe are looking for a business-focused person who enjoys working with structure, collaboration and clear communication. You are comfortable in an international project environment and can balance commercial, contractual and technical perspectives. You approach suppliers and stakeholders with professionalism and can move work forward while considering quality, cost, time and safety requirements.
You also have:
M.Sc. degree in business, engineering, economics or similar
Experience in procurement and/or sourcing
Experience of complex subcontracting
Project management experience in a cross-functional setup
Experience with commercial and contractual supplier negotiations
Working proficiency in English
