hela Sverige Do you want to join us on our journey? Our Project portfolio manager is creating the foundation for improved visibility of the Digital and IT strategic plans and roadmaps. This improved visualization will support a leaner execution and a better decision making, balancing conflicting demands.
We are working in a hybrid context, with both stable product teams and traditional projects building up our portfolio.
Expectations on your role:
Execute overall portfolio planning, monitoring and coordination in collaboration with portfolio, product and program managers on multiple levels, both from a demand and supply perspective
Lead and coordinate overall planning sessions to manage deliveries across portfolios to secure strategy alignment
Participate in portfolio planning and portfolio rebalancing forums
Lead the work to establish planning structures and mapping to value streams, including proposals for objectives and key results
Define planning metrics and establish routines for follow-up and reporting
Provide planning expertise and guidance to portfolio and product managers on multiple levels
Support the ongoing transition towards agile ways of working within portfolio management function as well as within the delivery teams
Who are you?
You have a solid background from project management, and you look at planning as the means to create a foundation for flexibility and smoothness in implementation, while securing alignment with the business strategic plans.
You are familiar with balancing the need for control coming from traditional business processes with the need for autonomy built into the agile methodologies.
You thrive on finding solutions to complex and detailed problems, while still not losing focus on the outcomes we want to achieve to support our customers.
You are a team player with great communication and networking skills and your can-do attitude gets the work done.
Competence required
Senior project manager with experience from working with project portfolios and/or programs
Experience from working with, and implementation of, agile methods and frameworks
Analytical and systematical skills
Aware of the importance of identifying interdependencies early to then be able to drive decoupling and hence reduce complexity
Ability to derive planning objectives from business strategic plans
Experience from working with processes and tools for both portfolio and project management, such as Planview Enterprise One, LeanKit, Jira, DevOps, TFS
