hela Sverige The Cab and Operator?s Environment (CnOE) Technology Platform Common Solutions department has the overall responsibility to provide knowledge and component development in the area of HMI, Ergonomics, Trim and HVAC in the global Volvo CE organization.
In the past years, there has been an exponential growth in Human Machine Interaction (HMI) related areas and in order to support the new market and functional demands for next generation Volvo Machines we are now looking for Project Portfolio Coordinator. Your role in CnOE will be to oversee the complexity of component projects cluster with primary focus on the HMI portfolio to ensure complete solution delivery to cabs in machine projects according to the product plans. The cab or operator station is an important part of the complete machine and it is of great importance to our customer. Today, many of our cabs are market leading in the area of operator environments and we intend to strengthen this position.
Responsibility
You will have the following responsibilities:
Coordinate the Component related projects as identified by key stakeholders and align to all related component and machine project time plans
Coordinate ongoing and upcoming component and architecture projects between involved departments.
Secure budgets are available and distributed correctly to all departments, also considering deliverables to not yet started projects, for VCE to be able to deliver on the component strategy.
Holistic view and understanding of output of one project?s influence on other projects, including not yet started initiatives.
Clearly advise of consequences to machine projects for missed component project timing or failed secured funding
Follow and take appropriate actions along with principal engineers (PE?s) on related strategies and initiatives needed for the company to be able to deliver the next generation HMI.
Chair the CnOE Project Portfolio forum and report activities in appropriate governance forums
Be main point of contact for all HMI and other CnOE component project portfolio related questions
Experience
We think that you are experienced project leader, structured and organized and know how to work in parallel with more than one project and also follow through with them.
You are good communicator and can work with all types of people.
You preferably have more than 5 years demonstrated experience in the area of project leading.
It is preferable, but not a demand, if you have knowledge in
Human machine interaction
