Project Office within Trucks Product Project, Volvo Group Trucks Technology, has the responsibility to deliver major product projects through project teams to our customers. Within Project Office Gothenburg, the group Project Planning and Assurance Management is in charge of leading and developing planning work and managing quality assurance within the projects in order to successfully meet the project targets from our customers. This driven and passionate team of Project Planning and Assurance Managers in Gothenburg work with vehicle, driveline and software projects for Heavy Duty Trucks.
We are now looking for a new colleague with strong drive and a genuine interest in project management to join our team. You have a holistic view to support the projects going forward, but also an eye for details when it comes to project planning and project quality assurance. You realize the importance of great teamwork and like to take on a challenge.
Your main focus is to ensure that we reach the end of the project delivering a great new product to our customers. This is done by securing project quality throughout the project and making sure that the project runs according to a decided time plan. Your efforts will be on risk management, planning and proactive work on gate targets.
In the future, you see yourself as a Chief Project Manager for large and strategic projects.
Core responsibilities:
Leading the project risk management work
Creating the Project Time Management Plan and creating alternative scenarios
Coordinating plans with related projects
Securing the project gates and end deliverables
Follow up on project progress
Defining, tracking and leading activities concerning non conformances in the project work
Organizing gate audits and presenting the project target status
Gathering lessons learned

Required competences and experiences:
University/Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of work experience in relevant fields
Experience in Project management
Leadership skills and with a "Make it happen" mindset for the difficult tasks
Analytical and well organized
