Publiceringsdatum2013-05-06Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are looking for a Project Planner to be based in Sweden.
The Project Planner develops and harmonizes the Top Project Plan and coordinates the sublevel plans involved in the project. The Project Planner is also responsible for Progress Control ( time related) for the project.
The Project Planner is a co-pilot to the Project Manager and a member of the Core Team. The Project Planner also develops the planning methods and educates project members in tools, methods and planning &scheduling skills.
• Establish and update project plans and bids plans.
• Development and training in planning methods, tools and planning skills.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
• Comprehensive knowledge in large project planning principles and processes and scheduling methods.
• Skilled in MS Project planning and/or Primavera.
• 2-5 Years working experience in project management. Master of Science Degree.
• Preferable good understanding of rolling stock business, but other strong competencies might override this competence request.
• The role requires management skills for multiple teams doing diverse activities and provides clear leadership in planning the different functions that are part of the project. The role is a co-pilot to project Manager and supports him in strategies for project execution.
• Solves complex problems through analytical thought and scenario planning.
• The planner role has a major impact on the project execution through leading the planning and progress control. The planner role is a co-pilot to Project Management. Delayed projects due to poor planning and progress control has impact on the project result, on the business unit result and on the total company result, depending of the size of the project.
• The project planner needs to have influencing and negotiating skills. The planner mainly interacts internally but to some extent also meets with the customer to discuss project status and mitigation actions. Therefore the project planner also needs to have collaborative skills. Language skills: English and Swedish mandatory, German preferably.
• In some periods the project planner must be able to travel abroad on short notice. The average numbers of travel days are about 2-5 days per month but it varies a lot.
