The Project Controls and Support department supports HVDC Projects and Tenders in a variety of ways that include planning, documentation, and training.

As the Project Planner at the home office in Ludvika, your responsibility is to establish Project Time Schedules to include all deliverable milestones and activities and will ensure that information used in decision making reflects the most up to date status of the projects. You will be responsible for analyzing the project schedule, coordinate with sub-project managers, reporting your findings and recommendations to the project management.

The position offers challenges by being a part of committed project teams that operate in multinational environment and in the forefront of latest technology. There will be opportunities to travel to project sites located in different parts of the world.

You will ideally have experience within an HVDC projects environment with planning and scheduling. A minimum of 4 years planning and Primavera P6 experience is essential. It will be critical to possess strong skills in cost, budgets, timing, and have the ability to liaise with key stakeholders.

Since we work in an international environment you need to master spoken and written English apart from Swedish. As a person you have a passion for people and technology, are strong in decision making and have the right inner drive and motivation to take on full responsibility for your scope and deliver on time in a dynamic environment. Last but not least you have to be a genuine team player that seeks and enjoys collaboration with peers and partners.

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power over long distances at minimal loss, using overhead lines, land and sea cable systems.
