What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Airborne ISR (a business unit within Support & Services) is currently leading a number of ongoing major aircraft modification/integration projects. We deliver Surveillance Aircrafts (AEW/MPA/MSA) and our business interacts closely with other Saab Business Areas demanding exceptional cooperation skills.
Good communication and cooperation is our key words in our efforts to satisfy our customer needs. Project planning is a core function of our project office within the Aircraft department.
Your role
As project planner you are responsible of the project planning in one of our large projects. You are a member of the project management team, reporting to the Project Manager and expected to participate to deliver the project's short and long term goals.
Main responsibility is to coordinate and support the different sub projects planning.
The projects are flexible with constant changes in working methods depending on time schedule, which gives opportunities for you to form and develop the planning role together with the project management team and the line organisation.
We are a growing organisation still in transformation from a strict project organisation to a major Production site. Our complex and strategic projects reaches several years and the planning role is exciting and flexible with the opportunity to spark a good career gaining experience in high technology projects on an international market.
You need to contribute to our flexible environment with a high focus on business, deliveries and improvements. You will cooperate with many different competencies in a number of interfaces both within our Business Area but also across all of Saab AB.
Your skills and experience
We are searching for you with experience of planning and preferably from large and complex projects. You have relevant university degree or equivalent experience.
You take initiatives and are prepared to work to develop and create your own presumptions for succeeding.
You also interested in participating in continuous improvements of our working methods and tools.
This position could include access to classified information. Therefor you will be required to conduct a security assessment in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act in order to be approved for security clearance by the authorities.
