Our Important Mission
The Test & Verification department at GTT Electromobility is responsible for building up and developing upcoming test & verification operations to assure the quality of future electric drivelines. Delivering test results with confidence in the areas of virtual testing, function & system testing, high voltage & propulsion testing as well as energy storage system testing is a central undertaking.
The focus for this team is to support the development of the needed test facilities in the Electromobility areas of responsibility to support future verification activities and this includes investments (budget) planning, finding suppliers, collaborations and execution/installation, user acceptance testing etc all to supporting the test teams with capabilities and capacity. The team has the overall responsibility to secure and create long term Roadmap for Electromobility Rig development and investment. Rigs include both physical and virtual rigs like HIL and the control systems connected.

About the role
The role of the Rig development Engineer is to lead, develop and drive projects to develop state of the art physical rigs and test equipment to support product changes and projects.
You will work close to your colleagues in the verification and development teams at Electromobility as well as other teams at Group Truck Technology to create plans for the rig development supporting the product development plans. For the changes that you are involved in you will create plans and be responsible for technical requirements, development, keeping time plans and budget. The work includes everything from early phase RFI up to user acceptance testing and planning for long term maintenance.
This means that you will need to work closely with other commodities test managers to understand the total needs. With your excellent communication skills, you will be developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. You're a problem-solver, which comes in handy when you are making sense of complex, high quantity - and sometimes contradictory - information. Requirements:
M. Sc. in Engineering or relevant work experience
Experience in Project Management
Hands-on experience with both physical and virtual test rigs and similar environments
Experience from rig development
Experience from working with agile development
Fluency in English, written and spoken

Meritorious:
Experience from electromobility product development
Experience in verification of Embedded System and/or physical verification
