YOU WILL
Working within our Project Team with a great team spirit, you will use the power of technology to shape the future of intralogistics for forward-thinking customers. We work in cross-functional realization team 's and you will work with highly skilled colleagues within various disciplines, such as Software, Controls, Engineering and Site management.
You will establish, manage and motivate a mixed Swisslog project team and be expected to leverage team member's skills / experience to enhance the project team's results. You will also increase project benefit and prevent project risks by appropriate risk management. Customer meetings, together with the project team, is also a part of the position. Furthermore, you will also, together with our Purchasing department, select potential sub-contractors for the project.
Other tasks and responsibilities are to:
• Provide support to the Sales department in the contract definition phase and in future relationship for extensions and/or new business
• Regularly perform and update critical path analysis
• Elaborate contracts with sub-contractors and minimizing risks
• Ensure Sub-contractors supply on the required level of quality (CE, validation, etc.)
• Have lead responsibility that all the project specifications (layout, functional, acceptance test specs. etc.) are timely issued and detailed enough to avoid technical and contractual risks

Previous experience in project management or work with a project methodology approach in a technical and customer-oriented environment is needed. Managing successful long-term and multidisciplinary projects comes naturally to you and project management experience in a complex engineering environment, ideally automated logistics equipment is appreciated. Previous experience working in the logistics industry is desirable, and technical understanding of Automation Software, supplier components (cranes, conveyors, AGV etc.) would be advantageous. We also expect you to have a minimum of BSc degree in a related field and excellent communication skills in English.
