Job Description
We are currently looking for high potential candidates to be trained as Project Managers and Change Agents. New Project Managers will receive several weeks of in-depth training focused on Leadership
Effectiveness, Six Sigma Problem Solving, and applying Lean Methodologies. Successful completion of training and completion of improvement projects will lead to Lean Belt or Black Belt
"Certification".
You will be based at ITT Water & Wastewater Headquarters in Sundbyberg, or within Operations in Emmaboda, supporting all parts of the company worldwide (i.e. production and sales units as well as
support functions). Our expectation is that you will work as a Project Manager and Change Agent within our Value Based Six Sigma organization for approximately 3 years before moving on to other career
opportunities within ITT Water & Wastewater.
Role description
Lean Belts and Black Belts lead improvement activities and projects in coordination with the Value Based Six-Sigma Champions and other improvement project teams. Project leadership includes
identifying opportunities, defining and financially justifying projects and other change activities, launching project teams, managing team activities, removing and elevating project barriers, leading
teams to execution, and tracking of project status and results.
Lean and Black Belts provide training of co-workers and coaching of project team members and Green Belts to spread the base of Six Sigma problem solving tools and VBSS culture.
The expectations of our Lean Belts and Black Belts are high and you will be on the frontline when it comes to driving and realizing activities tightly connected to company focus areas and future
results.Qualification/Requirement
• You have a Master or Bachelors Degree preferably in Engineering/Business or equivalent work experience.
• You have 5 years professional level experience and you have solid project management and team leadership skills.
• You also have good PC and software skills and good understanding of statistical analysis methods.
• Your English is excellent, both spoken and written. If you have good knowledge of other languages that is a plus.
• If you have prior supervisory experience, that is a definite advantage.You must be prepared for international assignments and be willing to relocate internationally.
Important characteristics are: analytical, customer-focused, result-oriented, innovative, assertive, influential, and having an ability to understand and exceed the customer’s
expectation.Communication and presentation skills are important, as is leadership potential.
