You have a bachelor's or a master's in computer science and/or software technology or similar? You're passionate about product development and have a couple of years of experience as Object Leader or Project Manager. We believe that you're an enthusiastic, result-oriented doer with a strong drive and with the ability to prioritize and maintain focus in all phases of projects.

THE NEW VIDEO PRODUCTS UNIT
Our unit develops new video products based on Axis technology platforms. Most new product projects include development of electronics, mechanics, software, documentation as well as putting the product in volume production. One of the units two main tasks is project management, the other is C-programming in an embedded LINUX environment. Our goal is to efficiently develop new high-quality products and deliver them to the market to strengthen Axis' market-leading position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As Project Manager in the New Video Products unit you'll be driving projects on the cutting edge of network video technology. You will be responsible for managing new product development projects that includes both firmware, electronics and mechanical development. Your main tasks will involve:
• Planning and executing product development projects
• Motivating and managing people in the projects
• Collaborate with developers, operations, product management, external suppliers and other project managers
• Prioritize and keep focus throughout the projects
